Senior and Journeyman Joiner wanted - Come join our shop!

Senior Joiner:
The Senior Joiner leads the shop team in fabrication, assembly, and installation of timber components, working at the direction of the shop foreman. The candidate is expected to have a deep knowledge of timber, timber construction practices, and OHSA rules and regulations. He or she is expected to possess all the skills of Apprentice and Journeyman joiners, along with the ability to effectively mentor, transfer knowledge, and lead by example. The candidate is an effective multitasker and responsible to budgets. (Up to $42/hr).

Journeyman Joiner
The Journeyman Joiner fabricates, assembles, and installs timber components under the direction of Senior Joiners and the shop foreman, and is expected to cut timber pieces accurately and contribute effectively to team efforts. The position requires mechanical aptitude, carpentry experience, and an interest in continued learning. The ideal candidate is punctual, organized, dependable, respectful of others, and receptive to constructive criticism. He or she maintains safe and clean personal work habits, has a positive attitude, and works well independently and as part of a group. (Up to $32/hr)

The work is 90% shop fabrication in Bellingham, Washington, and 10% installation on site both locally and around the West Coast from California to Alaska and Hawaii. Competitive wage and benefit package.
