Seeking two seasonal carpenters near Huntington, VT

TimberHomes’ seeks one to two full-time (40 hours/week), short-term site carpenters to join our worker-cooperative with a start date sometime between July 1st and August 15th, 2024 and extending through December.  These carpenters would be based out of our Montpelier shop, however, almost all carpentry will take place on a job site in Huntington, VT.  On this site we will be building and finishing a modified Very Fine House 2.5 . The frame of this house is a hybrid, with some heavy timber elements and panelized stick frame elements being cut in our Montpelier shop and installed on site. Therefore, the first month of this position may involve work at our Montpelier shop but this is primarily a site-based carpentry job.
