Want an alternative to your usual Labor Day ritual of backyard barbecue? Well, the Guild, Blue Ridge Timberwrights and The Barns at Franklin Park volunteers have joined forces to create a wonderful weekend for you and your family! We’ve kept the best parts of the tradition and added a bevy of thrilling twists and exciting turns!
To start with, we’ve picked one of the most beautiful locations in the eastern United States. Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Purcellville, Virginia, is conveniently located between Washington D.C., Skyline Drive and Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia.
| | | Volunteer for this exciting community theater project in one of the most beautiful locations in the eastern United States. | |
| | Whether by sunlight, starlight or flashlight, new passages await you. Scenic vistas, historic towns and villages, wineries and heritage sites can all be enjoyed while volunteering for this exciting community theater project. Please sign up and join us this Labor Day Weekend!
We’ve arranged to fill your days with the incredible task of raising a theater and performing arts center for the communities of Loudoun County. The Barns at Franklin Park Committee and Blue Ridge Timberwrights have designed and are cutting the three timber frames that will comprise the finished structure. For the raising, the Guild has promised to provide the expertise and enthusiasm brought by each of you.
