June 13 Update from Terry Miller, District Ranger
Well folks, work has begun. For those of you who have not been up the Kanc
in the last week, the landscape at the R-C House is changing. I'll admit
to being a little biased, but it looks great! Not enough clearing to see
the mountains (unfortunately), but a dandy view of the sky. We have posted
information on a bulletin board on the house site to explain to the
visiting public what is happening now and later. Hope you enjoy the
