Timber Framing Road Show
In April 1999, undergraduates from Boston's Massachusetts College of Art cut, assembled and raised a 12'x16' timber frame at the Hands House Studio, Norwell, Mass. The frame has already served as a touring demonstration of timber frame construction, and appeared at the Log Home and Timber Frame Home Show later that year in Worcester, Mass. It will ultimately serve as Joel McCarty's office in Alstead, New Hampshire. See related News stories.
