TIMBER FRAMERS GUILD
16th ANNUAL WESTERN CONFERENCE
Asilomar Conference Center, Pacific Grove, California

SLIDE SHOW
“A TIMBER FRAMER'S REVIEW”
To Be Presented April 11, 2003

Be a Presenter!

Share your experiences, your problems and your work on Friday Night. Everyone’s work is welcome at this Conference highlight. The show will be produced in advance of the conference.

Deadline for submissions
April 1, 2003

(That’s no joke.)

All conference attendees are encouraged to show projects, your pride and your problems relating to timber framing but other work will be accepted. Select ten of your best images in slide or digital format to share on the Friday night of the conference. To be included in this conference event, you only have to meet the following easy submission requirements and deadlines.

All presenters are to submit a typed Submission Form like the one below. The form requires vital information to be supplied, along with a generic description of each slide. Detailed guidelines on how to prepare your slides or digital images and deadlines follow.

The average presenter's correctly submitted work takes approximately 45 minutes to assemble into the completed show. Like you, members of the Show Committee travel to the conference to attend seminars, not to spend the day producing the show. With 40-50 presenters, you can see the need to have correctly complete advance submissions by the April 1st deadline. Your attention to detail is appreciated by all.

Asilomar Presenters! Friday, April 11, 2003
All presenters will receive special instructions and notice of their time slot in the evening's program. You will be asked to give a brief narrative of your images. A practice and coaching session is planned for slide presenters at 4:30 PM and digital presenters will have the opportunity at 5:15 PM.. First-time presenters are especially encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.

All remaining presenters are to meet at 5:45 that evening to receive their final instructions. You will receive additional details in your conference registration packet. If presenters have not checked in with the Show Committee to receive their instructions by 6:15 PM, we will assume they are out surfing the Pacific and their positions in the evening's program will be eliminated.
