REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Pre-Conference Workshops: Thursday, November 9th

The fee for each Pre-Conference Workshop is $135/TFG members, $160/non-members, which includes lunch and breaks. Workshops begin at 8:30 AM.

Main Conference: Friday, November 10th - Sunday, November 12th

The Full Conference fee includes attendance at all activities during the Conference, including admission to the Trade Fair. Commuter rates include lunch and breaks of the day attending. Rates include a 19% gratuity and 5% sales tax. Rooms are not included (see "Accommodations" below).

The Full Conference fee includes a full continental breakfast, lunch and continuous refreshment breaks Friday and Saturday, and a full continental breakfast and continuous refreshment breaks on Sunday. The Hotel Roanoke's unique package includes food with the breaks, so we will not be scheduling a full sit-down breakfast.

We will be trying a new evening format this year as well, providing a full hors d’oeuvres buffet at the Mixer on Friday and the Auction on Saturday, thus ending our evening programs earlier than usual. This will give people a chance to socialize and take advantage of the proximity of downtown Roanoke’s nightlife and restaurants.

The $50 early registration discount does not apply to commuters or the Pre-Conference Workshops.

The Spouse rate is also for children over 12, and is the same whether they attend the Conference or not; children under 4 eat free. Children 18 and under stay free if sharing a room with parents. Pre-Conference Workshop fee includes lunch.

Conference attendees must make their own reservations at the Hotel Roanoke 866-594-4722 or 540-985-5900 8am-5pm Monday - Friday. Be sure to mention the Timber Framers Guild to get the special rate of $115 per night, single or double (each additional person is $10/per night, plus tax). Rooms are not included in the Conference fee paid to the Guild. We recommend you make your reservation early to be sure of getting a room. Continuing Education Credits for architects and engineers are available for many of the seminars. Contact our office for a specific listing, or you may pick it up at the Conference.

As you look over the registration information, please consider becoming a Friend of the Conference. This is a new opportunity to add your name to the list of Conference sponsors by contributing an extra $100 to your registration fee that will go directly into the scholarship fund for that conference. Friends will be acknowledged by name in the Conference registration packet and in Scantlings. If you've been thinking of donating to the Scholarship Fund, now is your chance to really make a difference for those who otherwise couldn't afford to attend. Even if you can't come yourself, we would gladly accept your tax-deductible donation. Just indicate your contribution on the Conference registration form.
